Youngsters surveyed under new Haringey initiative
A major investigation into young people in Haringey is being held at schools across the borough, probing students to find out what they do, and what they would like to do as part of a schools survey on arts, culture and sport.
Primary and secondary school children are being given the chance to have their say on how, what, where and when the council offers services to school children and young people ranging from six-year-olds to 19-year-olds.
The survey aims to find out what engages young people and the activities offered in schools to pupils and to the wider younger community.
Young people are asked to provide responses to questions about their interests and participation in activities such as music, drama, and sports.
The questionnaire is part of a borough-wide fact finding mission to help the council plan better services and opportunities and also build strong and dynamic partnerships across London.
The survey is being conducted in partnership with SNAP Surveys to ensure objectivity and confidentiality of data. The company regularly conducts surveys for local councils in the UK.
